Standard working hours are 45 hours per week (9 hours/day including a 30-min break). During Ramadan, hours are reduced to 30 hours/week. Overtime is compensated at 1.25x the basic wage.

Most contracts are for 2 years, renewable upon mutual agreement. You are entitled to 30 days paid leave and return airfare after completing the contract term.

Yes, Africa provides end-of-service gratuity — 15 days' basic salary per year for the first 3 years and one month's salary per year thereafter. This is payable upon completion of the contract.
